Bagging manure

Ok I have heard of some people bagging their horses manure and selling it.
I want to!! my boys poop a lot.
lol Do you bag just the manure, minus the savings?
I'm going to assume you do, but do they like freak out if there is a shaving or two?
What kind of bags do you put it in?
Do you have to wait for it to..."ferment" for lack of better word..or do you sell it fresh out the butt?
Who do you sell it to.. assuming its a nursery, do you just go and ask if they want to buy some horse manure?
any tips..
Thanks.

Most places that buy manure
want aged not hot , or
as you so elegantly put it
"fresh out the butt?"

Some also only want
manure that has been in straw
Not shavings, due to the organic
nature .. it just takes longer
to decompose a bit..
After all wood is organic!

IF you are VERY lucky,
they will come get it
with a truck, and all
you will have to do
is count the money..
Smile pretty and wave .

How many horses do you have ?

Good places to start are
Local garden clubs,
Local garden centers..
Also your Boro may buy it ,
if they do any Flower bed
road side projects...

I used to sell mine..
But I was in the Mushroom Capitol
of the world, with at least sixty
horses more or less..
We also bed on straw.

You may do really well with this
what they call Mushroom Manure
around here goes for about
35 dollars a yard..
(thats just the fancey word for horse pewp)

Good luck!
May you get to be Number one..
In a number two bussiness!

We only have 3 horses.. but man do they poop.
My father was thinking of getting some spinning tub type deal
That supposedly helps it age a lot faster.
But I was hoping that they liked new poop (I don't know why they would).
So I could steal it and sell it myself!
.. a poop theif!!

$35 a yard!!
what is golden manure??
Gee, their poop could pay for their keep.
Maybe I could tell my father we need more horses for their manure!
hmm how did you get so much?
We might have to switch to straw... $35 a yard!

I did'nt get 35 bucks a yard
That is what it sells for !

Your Dad is looking at a
Compost Orb...
They work, but manure breaks down
pretty fast really...
You just need to let it age a bit
to be "safe" for garden dressing...

Tell your Dad not to store hot manure
in the orb .. not a good idea
Gases build up .. and its not pretty..

When I got the mushroom people
Now they really did grow mushrooms in it..
Kennet Square is the Mushroom Capital of the World !
They paid me by the truck load..
They came with a big dump truck and took
the aged stuff away..

I think it was a one ton load..
