I would pick them out well, clean with perioxide then treat with dry cow mastitus medicine, pack with cotton and wrap feet. i have had GREAT luck with it clearing up bad cases of thrush, while not drying out or damaging the healthy tissue of the feet.

Finding the cause of the thrush is the first obstacle. Until you find and remove the cause, you're fighting a never ending battle.

Cow mastitis medicine works great for bad cases. Especially those were the soft tissues are opened up.

i would go with what the others said. once you get it cleared up though, i use this stuff called Sole Pack Liquid that is great for antifungal as well as hardening their feet. it will help keep thrush from coming back if used a couple times a week. http://www.floridatack.com/index.asp...PROD&ProdID=23

You're looking in the wrong place. Mud does not cause thrush.

Poor hoof condition/balance, poor diet, depressed immune system, things like that cause thrush.

I missed the photos. I'm having a slightly hard time seeing from this angle. But is the thrush just located at the back center of the frog?

Would it be possible for you to get more photos of the hoof? In these the heel appears to be very long. And distance from frog to breakover appears quite long as well.
