Unhappy Bad news! Some of my horses need new homes.

I can't and won't go into any detail on the open forum, but will just say....I've hit a very large bump in the road that requires me to find new homes for some of my horses. If you wish to know what's going on, pm me and I will explain.

I know a LOT of you here on HGS, and if any of you are interested in taking one of my horses that I'm willing to part with, I feel confident that they would be going into good hands and homes. I don't have any current pics available....but can scrounge up old pics of most of what I have to adopt out.

Descriptions are as follows:

Saleena.....Born 6/08, Goldfinger filly...chestnut. gorgeous and built like a tank. Gentle, and very sweet natured. Would make an awesome 4-h horse for a child.

Star....Rescued 2 years ago from a breeding farm in Illinois. 20 year old broodmare. Was ridden for a few years then turned out to pasture. Sweetheart! Color....Red Dun.

Lady.....12 year old hackney mare. Small, and skittish. Broke for bareback, but won't take a saddle. Hasn't been ridden in 3 years. Color....Bay.

BooBoo....5 year old mini gelding. Broke to lead only. Goofy little guy.LOL Cute as a button....very easy keeper!!! Color....I think you would call him a Chocolate Palomino????

Cherokee.....Previous owner said 15 years. Vet said 20 years. Paint Mare. Awesome trail horse....crosses anything easily. Has too much spirit to be a childs horse. Is recovering from a severed tendon in the front of back leg. Will be completely, and 100% sound for riding again come spring.

Blue.....2 year old dark gray stud colt. Won't be a stud when adopted tho. Very gentle and awesome manners. Quiet!!! Recovering from a wire cut on back leg in front of cannon bone. Superficial wound. Is 100% sound.

Zues....born 6/08. Appaloosa gelding. Friendly and broke to lead. Sweet little guy, but he does have a mind of his own. I think anyone who might want him will be able to use him for cow work (he loves cows), or for jumping. Before being castrated, I watched him jump fences to chase cows like the fence wasn't even there. Hasn't done that tho since he became a gelding several months ago.

If anyone is interested in any of the horses I've listed, just pm me. Please help me find them good PERMANENT homes. They will go for free to the right homes.

Thank you everyone.

Thank you. Trust me....it wasn't self inflicted. I can thank someone else for what I'm dealing with now.

Hmmm.....maybe it WAS self inflicted? My own stupidity and being too trusting got me in this mess. UGH!!!

Anyway....if you know of someone interested in adopting one of my horses, please let me know. I just want what's best for them.

No fees whatsoever! You just have to be able to come and pick him up.

Argh!!!! I can't get the pic of BooBoo here. Look in my photo gallery. He's on page 4 titled "mini gelding".

Sorry!

Thank you Chester. I'm on my sons laptop, and I can't figure out how to get the pics from my gallery to here posted. On a desktop I can do it,but I guess it's different on a laptop.
