StormyHeart is well known here on these forums for her unbridled passion and love of horses. She will fight to the death for them and her priorty is for her animals. Her love and passion can only be surpassed by the pain of her losing them and now that time has come.

Stormy is spinning in pain, running scared not knowing what to do about the postion she is finding her self in.
Her compassion for the human side is just as strong as for her animals.
Due to this, the loving, caring heart she extended to another member of this forum has brought her to her knees in confusion, helplessness and pain.
The helping hand she extended was not just grasped but it was grabbed by greedy, thoughtless, inconsiderate, lying, thieving people who took such advantage of her she is now in the same place they were in when she offered them this hand.

Her first and foremost thoughts and priorty is her horses. She is in danger of not only losing them, but in danger of losing her home, all that she has worked towards. This isnt stopping her, she has stated she would live in a tent in the pasture with them if need be but she has to make sure they are safe and taken care. Some of these horses are ready to be homed, some are so old and need care that only Stormy would give them the kind of love and care they need.

We have all debated with StormyHeart on issues such as slaughter, some of us, and my self included in this have strong opinions which may force us apart.
Our differences make us all unique. Now is the time for us to ALL stand as a whole and help the one who has been there for many others here on the forum.
I respect and admire Stormy for what she stands for, I may not agree and will argue with her over it but I will always stand for her right to do so. Even in our differences on certain issues I hold my hand out to her in friendship.

I know times are hard for us all. But please, Stormy would not ask for help but I will not only ask but beg for her if needed. Please, lets set our differences apart, let "walk the talk" as horse men and woman and help the one of us who truely needs us.

Anything you can donate to help her get past this spot in her life, be it 5, 10 bucks or a handful of change, anything and every thing will help. If we can't do this for a friend, who can we help?

Please pm me or Stormy and ask for her address to send anything you can.

If you can offer her horses a safe loving forever home, please do. She will be more then happy to give you all the details she can.

I have to say that I doubt anyone could doubt Stormys love of these horses nor her honesty with them.

If I lived close I would take one.

I left you a note on your page Shelly. I tried to send a PM but either my box or yours is messed up.
I am not in a position to take any horses at this time. My dad is still taking care of my two. I would help you in any other way I can though. Just let me know.

I'm so sorry you are in the situation. I can't come to Kansas to get one of your horses ... that's a LONG way away ... but I can pray for you and hope that somehow this will work out in the end.

Since I've joined this forum, I've respected and admired you with all that you do to make your horses safe and happy ... your work with the injured and forgotten ... you are blessed with a big heart.

I hope that even though your big heart has lead you to your current situation ... that you won't lose it. That would be a shame.

If you ever need anyone to talk to ... PM me. I'm a good listener.

Lots of hugs, so sorry this is happening.
If I wasn't 20 hours away, I'd beg my parents to let us take one of them... But with me at university next year, the only horse we're looking for is a dead calm horse for my mom to ride, as I'm already having enough difficulties figuring out how I'm going to train my filly while in university.

Hope it all works out for you.
