Well I went to the show today, I showed squiggles and Jackie showed Lila.

So I was sopposed to wake up at 5:30 this morning since we needed to be at the show around 7:15,That would leave me enough time to feed the horses, take a shower and get ready. Jackie's walk-trot classes started at 8. Jackie's mom was coming to pick me up at 6:30. Well my mom slept in and woke me up at 6:15! So I was rushing trying to make sure I had everything, And I was already stressed because Jackie's mom was in a rush and alll stressed out. So I got ready just in the nick of time.
She got here we loaded squiggs and got there at around 7:45! Her class starts at 8! So we rush, Jackie gets her stuff on and I tack up lila as fast as I can. Lila takes extra time to warm up because she has string halt and her stifle gets locked up and she picks her back leg up really high and not the prettiest site in the world. So we warm her up, they go into there first class and they look good, They got reserved. Then they go into there second class and you can tell her leg is really starting to bother her and lila acts up a little, and Jackie totally gives up on her and just gets all upset. So that didnt go good, but I talked with Jackie and made it clear that Lila is going to act up by the way she rides her. She needs to sit up and ride her and they'll do fine so she goes in her other class and they do ok. They got reserved in all the classes.

Then I get on squiggles and only do 1 class I was sopposed to do more but Jackie's mom wanted to be home early and was really upseting me, I have been showing since I was 10 and I know what I'm doing, When my classes run, ETC and she was just complaining about how I shouldnt of scratched some of my classes, But my trainer told me to.

Then some of my Ex-friends were being completly rude! making stupid noises everytime I walked squiggles by, They were trying to spook him.
I just glared at them, The next time they did it I was about to tell them to Grow up, but luckily for them they didnt pass me again.

It wasnt the best show, And the horses there were amazing, I put so much work into this show too and the end result was pretty crappy.

Its just hard, Squiggles is slowing down. He is older and cant hold his own against the big horse shows and Jessie is basically falling apart in front of me. Her ringbone is really starting to get to her.

Yeah, I was showing at Leone equestrians.

Sorry Greta! But the great thing about horse shows is that there will always be another show and another day! Chin up.

Sorry you didnt have a good day... I hate starting a show day with oversleeping... been there, done that!

sounds like a rough time... we all have our down days. but your ex friends sounded extremely rude...they are lucky they did not do that to me, would have gotten off and they would have gotten some pretty bad bruises...*giggles* nobody messes with me and my horse but there is always next show, at leats nobody was hurt!
