I'm sure I'll be riding next week, sore back or NOT, LOL... I am leaving on Tuesday to drive to Calgary with Lexi to deliver her to Arabkid and then driving back on the 18th with MY new horse, EMMERSON and it's about 600 miles each direction, so that's part of why I'm being extra careful to try to NOT aggrevate my back more!!! That's a long drive and I am going alone, so I need my back in workable condition!

I'm LOOKING forward to the Chiro on Friday, I'm sure that will help a ton! (I sure HOPE SO!!!)

I had a similar experience happen to me years ago, I was cantering along just as good as you please on my green mare and then the next thing I remember is wakin up BLIND in the ambulance! (not fun btw, lol) The frustrating thing is the other girl in the ring didnt see it, and neither did my instructor! (she was not in the ring, doing something elsewhere). CRAZY stuff. Concussions so not fun!

Anywho, hears to a speedy recovery! Hope the chiro helps your back!
Oh WOW Doll... how SCARY to wake up and not SEE I really have my dressage instructor to thank honestly... it's her voice in the back of my mind saying "and you're going helmetless today, WHY???? do you HATE your life???" I swear that is what I hear every time I even THINK about not putting a helmet on my head YES I'm taking her to lunch next week

Yes if I did NOT have my helmet on, then my HEAD may have had the gravel, those scrates and dings in IT, which means I probably would have been hurt MUCH WORSE!!!

Yes fortunately this happened when someone was home... many days I DO ride when Roger isn't home or I'd not get ot ride at all BUT I do try to make sure my NEIGHBOR is home and she knows when I start riding and if I don't call by a certain time she knows to come check on me, so I TRY to be as careful with my personal safety as I reasonably can and still get riding/training time done regularly.
