So thanks to your pathetic internet service I worried sick for no reason. Well, no reason, but no good reason. lol gee that just doesn't sound any better.

I'm glad you got yourself checked out and YES you need a new helmet. Do NOT put that one back on again. Even if there is no external damage showing, you do not know how much the integrity of helmet has been compromised.

I had a little laugh with the visual of Roger "untacking" Dancer. At least he was able to figure out how to take it off - those crazy rocket scientists.

I managed to give myself a good wack on the head once, on the ski hill. The last thing I remembered was eating snow and then there I was, crawling up my folk's front steps - an hour drive away from the base of the mountain.
So I've been there, deffinitely take it easy for a couple of days.
My computer apparently over heated last night and just shut down and wouldn't start up again... I thought "GREAT a dead NEW computer ) BUT luckily it's OK this am!! My brother in law is going to look at it for me this afternoon to see if it needs a better fan (apparently laptops need GOOD fans) but at least it's working again today!

It is really bugging me that I can't remember exactly what happened MAINLY so that I can try to AVOID it again in the future I guess Dancer came down ON me on my left side all in very slow motion and I managed to kick clear of the stirrups before she stood up again... BUT that is per the neighbor kids description because I flat out don't remember it at all...

Weird when I broke my back from a horse falling on me I remember to this day exactly what happened and how it happened.... sigh.... it was at the END of my training session that Dancer did this too... I was actually walking her aroudn the property to cool her out...It had been a pretty good working session ... OH well... After I realized I was in the house and after I started to feel a bit more stabil I DID insist on going up and checking her over and hosing her off Roger was annoyed I wouldn't go to Doc's before I took care of the horse, lol...

I'd figure you'd be sore today.. but I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt! You gave me quite a fright last night! .. (HAHA That rhymed!) .. Meg was having a FIELD day with this one on MSN last night.. That girl .. LOL
I'm stiff, sore and my pride is probably more bruised then anything since I haven't come off a horse in EONS, lol...but I'm only SLIGHTLY more dizzy then normal and I will be OK to drive to Calgary on the 17th and 18th to drop off Lexi and pick up Emmerson so that is a bonus!!!

Wowie. Well, although i don't ride a helmet in my home arena, on my horse, i wear one when riding a green horse, or a horse i don't know/isn't mine, while jumping, and in an area that is, rocky... rocks hurt....

I am VERY super glad you are okay
