Angry BAD BAD Pony Ate My Ring!

I almost didn’t post this because of how completely stupid I felt! And how unbelievable this story would sound. But I swear on everything I hold dear….this is a true story…Anyway… after spending about 35 minutes trying to work my engagement ring off my finger (swollen knuckles-arthritis)…I figured…what the heck…lol.
I should had figured something like this would happen on a Monday…. I was feeling a little out of it this morning after spending the weekend in bed with the flu. Still sporting a bit of a “Nyquil Hangover”-- I called my pony Wish to follow me down to his stall while carrying a big armful of hay, not really paying attention as I should have been. He was sort of behind me and off to my left…but close enough to reach over and grab a quick hard mouthful of hay…. I felt his teeth connect with something solid and pull my hand with his bite of coastal….. I looked down at my hand expecting to be missing a piece of finger….and realized the darn pony had bitten off my solitaire!!!!!!!! Needless to say I completely lost my mind….scaring the heck out of Wish in the process. So of course he took off like a bad out of a very hot place…with me running behind having heart palpitations….all the while he’s still chewing….arghhhhh! By the time I caught Wish….there wasn’t anything in his mouth. I went back to the aisle way of the barn where everything happened…and lo and behold on the floor…there was my diamond. I have not been that thankful in a loooooooooooong time. Sigh…… No damage to speak of expect for some very bent prongs and one extremely scared ring owner. Can’t wait to explain this one to the jeweler….! Bad Bad Pony!!
Sorry about the bad pic…..this is the only ring box I could find to put it in for safe keeping. You can still see the soap stuck in the crevices of my band from trying to work my band off…..

I think you need to enter that into the guiness book of world records.
Ways a diamond has been lost.
You would be at the top with that one.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry for you.....

Lol..... I swear I almost had a heart attack.... I am so glad he did not actually eat it...or spit it out in the sand. Because once something hits the sand around here....it gets swallowed up forever!
