showie- what company do you have? luvstoride- i've been doing some research, and i've found that the ULTRA thinline half pads are more beneficial to the rider than the horse, and the thinline ones (which don't come in white unfortunately) are more for the horse. does the ultra thinline you have give enough protection against sore backs? |

We always put our half pads under the regular saddle pad so that you can't see it.

My mare's back doesn't get sore very easily, we use it as more of prevention. You can always get a regular ThinLine and use it under your show pad, trimmed so it doesn't show. I use the regular thickness with my saddles.
