Back from the halloween show!!!! pics and results!!!

it was amazing!!!!!!!!
i rode in camp/lesson as my plasure warm up and ended up getting 1st, 3rd, and 2nd in my 2 o/f and my u/d. leaving me with reserve for the day and grad reserve for the series. I WON MY FIRST SASH!!!!

haha then was the costume class! haha well it was soo much fun! and ....

FLASH WON HIS FIRST BLUE RIBBON!!!!!!

i was soo proud! lol. Hannah, the coolest little girl in the entire world, led him for me as i was on willow. the "scuba pony and his scuba girl" won the class with some stiff competition! lol vidal was there so they will have pro pics of everybody in the class, but for now i only have pics of us. willow got ripped off with a 4th

. stupid scuby doo! lol. i understand the mermaid that beat us. it was good, and a QUIET pony! lol but the scuby doo costume i thought wasnt that great. but w/e lol i dont really care ;]

then i rode in pleasure. didnt place. but willow was sooooo good. i dont think she'll ever be the "pleasure horse" but it was the only division with only 1 course of 2'6, and i wanted the practice. we did okay. i didnt get a chance to school, and i hadnt jumped since wed, so it wasnt our best. but willow was SLOW!

haha who ever would have thought! lol. willow and slow in the same sentence. as a matter of fact she BROKE! haha i never really ride with leg on b/c shes always FLYING around but today she broke from the canter in the w/t/c class. lol. i was totally NOT expecting it, but take full responsibility for it. but i dont think it hurt us very much, not like we had a shot anyway ;] lol

thanks guys!
we have been quite successful, with some rough patches in between of course! and it took ALOT of hard work, blood, sweat, and LOTS of tears to get where we are today. all my hard work really did pay off! haha ive learned to love no stirrup work, how to make going slow still as fun and interesting as running as fast as we can, how to apply leg before a fence (lol i never needed to before, or i really had no time to do so before. leg simply meant go faster in all circumstances), and soooo much more.

im looking forward to the rest of my series finals. most of them are done, but i have a few fun shows left.

this whole season has taught me alot. ESPECIALLY to not underestimate my horse. shes proved to me that i have been underestimating her all along.

That is soo good to see those pictures. To me it just shows how much you have been working towards, how much you love your horses, and how much fun you have with them. Also, that you let other people have fun with them. The little girl that lead flash has the hugest smile on her face. I'm sure that made you feel good.
