Back from the Beach (Atlantic, that is)

Well it was cold, it rained and hailed and it was fun anyway. Loren and I had to cut out early due to the wind and freezing rain. There is only so much a 3 y/o boy can take. We brough along a friend and her horse and we met the civil was people there too, but only 2 of them showed up. David said he found 2 dead seals and CJ was not to happy about that. He didn't like that I left him either, but the boy comes first.

There were a lot of big kites flying on the beach and the horses didn't like that at all.

Velvet was good, CJ was bad, but didn't buck David off today.

I'm so jealous

I want to ride on the beach so bad, but a combination of a spooky horse and no trailer does not equal a day riding at the beach

I'm going to try to convice my trainer to let me taken ole wally down there this summer.

Well, Paige, maybe you could ride the old horse, Bein. She has been cleared for light riding by light people when the vet was here a week ago. She is a good girl too.

David got off and walked a few times. The kites and other horses and rain and wind were a lot for CJ's pea brain to deal with yesterday. Even Velvet had trouble with the kites, but she got over it fast. CJ was good considering he is barley broke to ride. David has decided he needs to put more time into him. I am glad because I don't want him to get hurt. David has decided he is getting to old to battle it out every time he gets on his horse.

wow, good pics! that's one of my dreams is to ride on the beach in summer or spring. maybe i need to look into that,LOL.

It is almost an hour away. There is only 15 minles of coast line here in NH. you get into MA if you go to far.

I went to the beach a couple of years ago with Dinah and my old best friend's TBxID when she first got him... me and my mum are planning to go this year, and take Ace and Dinah!
