Baby Doll may be pregnet!

Baby just keeps getting bigger and bigger. We ride her often, so she shouldnt be getting fat. Is there a way to tell if she is pregnet with out getting the vet out there? If not we will call the vet.

Nope I would say call the vet to find out.

Did you get this one from the auction??? If so I would say more than likely she is pregnate!

Yes, if you don't really know her history I would call a vet to check it out. Have you wormed her?

I don't think so. We had something similar happen. We bought a mare and didn't realize she was preggers. The vet came out and tried to palpate her but couldn't. The second vet took some blood which confirmed the pregnancy - it could only tell us that she was more than 5 months pregnant. We still were in the dark as to when she would deliver.

Good luck to you.

we bred my mare and we didnt want to pay $500 for a altrasound(sp?) so the vet told us to get a humans pregancy test for her. its like 95% right. and it said she was. and 2 days ago the vet was out and did a blood test and she is pregant. so i'd try that , they're like 10 bucks
