Talking Baby Bredero has a baby sister!!!

Bredero was the first Uptown offspring to be imported into N. America, and the second has now just arrived! Ciestro-Strona is Bredero's half sister/2nd cousin. lol. My friend Kristine has waited 13 years for her first horse, and yesterday, she became the proud owner of this little beauty!! I'm SO happy for her, she has worked LONG and hard for this day, so, knowing how all horse people appreciate that, I thought I would share!!

She is a KWPN by Uptown X Juventus.
Born in April.

She's going to be a stunner!!!

There is nothing better than getting your first horse/the horse of your dreams, little Ciesto-Strona was well worth the wait for Kristine!!!!!!!

It stands for:
Koninklijk Vereniging Warmbloed Paardenstamboek Nederland
which in English means: (lol)
Royal Warmblood Studbook of the Netherlands
It is the Dutch breeding organization for jumping, dressage, harness and Gelder horses.

So she is a Dutch Warmblood. But not all Dutchies are KWPN.
All KWPN = Dutch WB, not all Dutch WB's = KWPN.
Like, all zigs are zags but not all zags are zigs lol.

Ciestro-Strona and Bredero are the offspring of an approved stallion (the KWPN stallion approvals are one of, if not THE, hardest to pass), and an approved mare.

Deep down, alllll WB's are just the decendents of some nice TB crossed with some nice German plow horse. lol. It's all just a matter if the studbook 'approves' them or not.

She is absolutely GORGEOUS. The first picture especially. She looks really spritely and fun! Kind of feminin, but not "mean" at all...she's going to be a blast I can't wait to see her when she grows up!

Glad to help you! It most definitely can be confusing!

Thanks Feliche and Amber! I know!-she's only almost six months and already huge! It's a good thing since Kristine is 5'11"!!

Yeah, I love her pretty girl face; it's going to give her a very elegant look when she's older.
