just so you know, small amounts can be exteremly harmful too your dog.(my friends older dog bled out from aspirin, which was recommended by her vet) but I am sorry I do not know what your pet's dosage should be??? hope she gets well what ever it is

    I've read:
The dosage of aspirin for dogs is between 10 and 15mg/kg
    then

The dose for aspirin is approximately 10mg/lb of bodyweight
    both on the same website.
So far everything I have found has said to be dosed every 12 hrs.

I do have to take him in, and I will but I just can't get him in until my husband has his days off b/c he can't jump up into the truck and with my broken knee I cannot lift him in/out. I want to give him some relief while he waits for the weekend.

There is something going on with his back end. He looses control of his left hind. Sometimes taking an exagurated step and ending up with his foot folded over, not standing on the pad but with his foot actually folded.
    It isn't looking good.

Yesterday I gave him one full adult tablet and it deffinitely made a difference. He looked brighter and ate all his food for the first time in weeks.
