Arizona Pinto Horse Club Logo Needed

Hi Everyone.

I need all your creative minds to dream up a logo for our Arizona Pinto Horse Club. It will be used on EVERYTHING associated with the AzPtHC. It must include all types of Pintos (nothing to reflect just a stock horse or Arabian, etc). The Font should be very legible (although it doesn't have to be boring!). It will also need to include the outline of the State of Arizona.

Winner will be given full credit on our website, plus notations as available in our show bills and News Letter, plus I'll throw in a CERAMIC 40 and 10 blade

I'll think on that a bit and see what I can come up with. Hopefully I don't disappoint myself ... considering part of my job is logo design

Here is the PtHA Logo to give some people an idea of how they promote the 4 different 'types' of Pinto Horses & Ponies:

IF the Pinto Horse Association of America will allow the use of those horse heads, this is what I came up with. (If you like it, would you be willing to figure out if you can use the horse heads? I don't have that kind of time )
If you decide on it, I can get you the native files and all that good stuff too.

That's not too bad Personally, I'd like to stay away from the PtHA logo, just because almost every club uses it in some form and I think it would be great to use a different look Of course using HGS member horses would be cool too

If you start a thread to collect pics that are similar to that logo.....I would be willing to select a few and collage them into a whole new logo for you. You'd have to pm me the link in case I didn't see it.
If you liked the general layout of the logo I did already, I can play off that...if you don't, I can start over. And this is all pending how much work I have to do tomorrow

I also had an idea to incorporate each bit that goes with the 4 disciplines into the corners of the states, BUT my brain was too fried to hunt down pics of the different bits........so if you have pics of those, thats another option.

Yes, it does seem like most of the PtHA Charter Clubs do use some version of the PtHA Horses in their logos.

This one is the Southwest Pinto Horse Association's:

New York State's:

Here is the Oklahoma PtHA's logo and it does not use all of the PtHA horses:

Here is another one that is different:

Here is Illinois':

The following is one that was created to promote a Tri-State PtHA Show:

When designing do keep in mind that the simpler the better!
The logo will not just be used on the Club's web site but on signs, show posters, flyers and programs......not to mention t-shirts, jackets and caps!
The logo will be reproduced and the more graphic intensive it is, the harder and more expensive, it will be to use.
The BEST logo design is ALWAYS a simple one that let's people quickly and easily identify the organization it represents.

Sandra,
On the other side of that, we can have two logos: One black/white that would need to be simple and then a more complex/colored version for printed materials Oklahoma used the APHA horse! Ok new thread going up for models
