They have put ads in the Dog forums. Are we gonna be getting ads as well here?

Yes. Ads will be soon added to the site. We do need to generate more income to keep the forum running.

also is it possible to put the adds somewhere other than below the first post like at the bottom of the page or to the side etc.

I really doubt it, these ads are going to help with the costs of maintaining the site and help with future site enhansements.
If some other option comes up, we will let you know.

But I imagine if you want to pay the ISP bill monthly they might change their mind

I choose ads. If not, we will have to pay. And I give a big thumbs down to that!

Oh and as long as they are not the pop up ads. Those suck.
