The repairs in the 1st E-Bay link wouldn't cost you much at all.......in all honesty a regular shoe repair dude should be able to do it, if he's any good & you explain what it's supposse to look like (if he didn't know)

Out of the 3, that is your best bet.

I'll keep that one in mind and see how much it's up to near the end of the auction.

I found the one on craigslist for $400. And got the seller down to $350. But ufortunately it's "cash at pickup only".

Well, it needs to be pretty cutback. Wide tree. For all I know right now, the Mark VI might bridge anyway and won't work. But I know that I'd be on the right track with the cutback and It'd be worth trying if I could find one.

lol. I hope so too. I'm getting pretty discouraged though. It's very tempting to go back to bareback and just get a pad with a gullet or something.
