| Senior Member+ | arabs in CA Not my horses. You need to e-mail the address give for any other info. Buddy is 3 yrs arab gelding 12hh; he is in need of new home. Owner is in hardship; also the person at the property where he is doesn't want him on the property anymore. They are not getting long to0 well. Buddy has health issues: underweight, pastern injury, low red cell count, he was treated for bad tapeworms. Owner can't afford vet recommandions of full blood work up, xrays for pastern injury with rehab and supportive vet care, vet felt because he is so young he has good chance to make good recovery. He is very gentle and would make good kids horse when recovered. Owner is asking that if private family would like to adopt him she wants $300, but if a rescue takes him she will consider donating him. She is affraid to donate to private family out of fear he might end up at the sales cause they got him for free, etc. He is located in Sacramento, CA. He is utd on his shots good for vet and farrier and hauling gets long with other horses, etc. Also with him is 18 yrs arab mare; 15hh; not broke; sorrel; used as broodmare most of her life and was never broke to ride, but is gentle. They can go together or separate same applies for the mare: if private family takes her owner wants 300 but if rescue takes her will consider donating. They really need to be in new home because of everything going on and circumstances with the person at the property now person at the property gave her stall away so there is no place to put him away to if needed. He is loose in fenced-in part of property. While everyone is in there stall he just wanders round loose on the property. His owner really loves her horses but talked to her and said this is not a good thing for theses horses and after alot of tears she agreeded to let me help her to rehome them. She rescued both horses from another ranch last year that was gonna send them to auction. I need to get pics of the mare; when I do will send them to anyone interested. Anyone interested can contact me (eqngal@yahoo.com) and will forward their information to owner; she is so overwhelmed she asked me to do everything for her.
