| Senior Member+ | I think Arabs are very beautiful, but a little on the small side for me. I'm very tall, so I feel like a giant on anything under 16hh. I do love the Anglo Arab tho!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't really like Arabs that much! I think they're just a little too "precious" and breakable. Of course there are exceptions, my friend has an Arab who is lovely but all in all i'm not for Arabs. Sorry blushing I'd rather have a chunky Cob any day!!

| Senior Member+ | I can see why you think that Pirate...you have that beautifull black cob right. He's more my style too. I have an old type Morgan and they are kinda the same body type as your cob. |

![]() | I love my arab...she's not typical by any means though. She's built like a tank and takes up all of my leg easily (I'm 5'8"). I do think that some arab breeders are going too far with refinement and daintiness, losing sight of the fact that you should still be able to ride the horse comfortably...but I suppose it depends on what line of arab being bred...Monita is straight Egyptian but looks more Polish than anything. |

| Senior Member+ | Sorry guys I know this is an arab thread but I'll be quick. Pirate, Morgans are an American breed so no wonder your not that familiar with them.lol They aren't as drafty as your cob but they do have a bigger build to them. Here's a link to a website this is the first one I could find but the horse on their homepage is a decent example of a Morgan. As you can see they make great family horses too that's a stallion!!! I don't know how the rest of their horses look though. http://sablemorgans.topcities.com/ |
