I think, as with any breed, there are good ones and bad ones. A person should never prejudice a breed from what someone says!! I think in a lot of cases with Arab's, the flightiness or spookiness that people experience with an Arab has a great deal to do with a lack of training.

I agree with Shy...
breeds are stereotyped, just like races of people. Not all native kids/teens are bad.... or asian people smart..
not all TB's are fast enuff to race.. not all QH's are ut out for ranch life..

Like Shy said, EVERY breed of horse has good, and bad. I like arabs, theyre smart, agile, and GORGEOUS!!! theyre not my Fav breed, but I kno lots of them, and have absolutley nothing against them!

I've never owned an Arab and I haven't ridden many that I've managed to click with but I don't discount the breed. A good horse is never a bad colour or a bad breed IMO.

I love Arabians and half arabians!!!! They are pretty, smart, icredible to watch.... just a fantastic breed to me. But then I work with them too. Like Madvoice indicated, a good horse is a good horse all the same. It is too bad they get such a terrible stereotype, but thats why people have to find out for themselves. Not every arabian is a great horse, like any other breed, but I love the breed as a whole!

I love arabs. I think they are often misunderstood and very stereotyped. An arabian is just like any other breed. The quality of horse you have depends upon breeding, training, nuturing etc just like any other breed. My best horse friend that I have ever had was an arabian, I still miss her.
