Exclamation Arabian/WIDE english saddles.

I have an arabian cross.
Shes very wide with a shorter back.

Im having a HARD time finding a saddle to fit her. She has withers, but wide shoulders.

Im assuming an arabian english saddle would fit her, but I cannot find one for a reasonable price.

OR a WIDE saddle for a reasonable price? Itd have to be wider then the standard wide tree...

Help?

Thanks

What price do "you" consider reasonable, that will help people provide suggestions.

Its so hard to find wide saddles these days unless you're riding western... I've been looking for almost 2 months for a wide English saddle for my Appy. If you upped your limit you could probably get a Keiffer which could be remoulded to fit..

If your not against synthetic, Wintec has a lot of width options. For $600 if you go leather, then used would likely get you a better quality saddle then new.

As much as I love my wintecs, I must say that their dressage saddles are rather narrow in the channel and don't always accommodate for the table backed horses

I sent a Duett back, if your horse is mutton withered one may work for you, I was a bit underwhelmed, BUT I have a friend with an Arab who rave's about and adore's her's for trail riding. If you can try one, be worth a shot. When she does any schooling or showing, she has a treeless for those times.

My horse is hard to fit, and I found the Thornhills to fit wonderfuly,
I have an Event saddle and a new Dressage one, I love them both.

Saddles, Tack, Equestrian supplies

Good luck,
Paula
