Just going by the photos... she is a lot better than what you have shown us so far.
It will be interesting to see what she looks like as a yearling.

If she has a lot of polish bloodlines and they are dominate she could be really athletic and a super good mover. But, then again, I can think of several Egyptian lines that are just as athletic too. It has been my experience that the Egyptians are slow to mature...but if they are good ones it is well worth the extra wait!

You won't be able to tell anything for sure until you get to see her up close and personal though... wink

eek! Jumpers you can only judge looks with a photo..you can't judge personality by looking at a picture!

It has been my experience that with correct and consistant handling even the most flighty Arab will come around.

I apologize if I have offended you, but I certainly would not pass on a youngster that was obviously better simply because it lacked proper handling. Going by the photos you have posted this filly is a LOT better quality, has better conformation and movement as well as breeding, than the gelding.

You asked for my opinion and I gave it...I will refrain from doing so again as it seems that I am misunderstanding what you are looking for and asking.

In the end the only person who has to be satisfied is YOU anyway, so it matters little what anyone here thinks.... wink

Well, since you're wanting to do dressage (and not arab dressage), I would think that personality would be more important to you than "correct" Arab conformation. You know what you're looking for. I know that you like the other boy better. He didn't have any conformation faults, just wasn't your typical Arab. I know you want to show at halter for awhile, but your main focus is going to be dressage. This little girl looks nice as does the other boy (judging just as a horse not by breed).

Thanks Dawn It looks like I'm only capable of picking out junk so I'm not going to post any more pics. I see why they say the Arab world is so political. I've been warned several times already to steer clear of the Arab people because of the attitude. I'll just keep my pictures to myself and pray I find the right horse.
