I know the prices sound outrageous to many people, heck I'll have to admit, even I was stunned.. but not because he's not worth it, only because I cannot ever see myself being able to afford one like him. If I could I'd buy him in a heart beat... because I know he'll be something someday. Megs, he is such a gorgeous boy, I hope whoever buys him does alot with him (when he's ready-naturally) and maybe breed him to some nice quality mares, no doubt he'll throw some nice offspring. On PriceTags: there is a man about 30 min from me that just paid around 1.3 million for a yearling thoroughbred... now talk about that for high price tags... he bought her from an auction no less.. so he really didnt get to see her more than 1-2 days...definately not enough time for ME to decide I wanted the horse.. when he told my neighbor that, and she told me, I seriously thought he needed a hole in his head, and since I've seen the filly, I KNOW IT.. she's absolutly UGLY... I've seen mules that are prettier. But to each his own.. maybe she'll be a good runner, but she's ugly as mudd. Stephanie

and so not to offend our new Member that has mules: I do not have a problem with mules, I actually bred a mare to get a mule (I sold her to my uncle though because he was moving and just couldnt part with the ol gal)... I am eagerly awaiting the birth of her foal this upcoming summer. --The fact that Wunderbar Arabians has so many fine colts that have achieved so much, would only lead me to believe that the chances of Mariachi WA becoming something great is very highly and more than likely possible. I cannot wait to find out what he does in 4 years from now!--

AWE WHAT A CUTIE!!! I LOVE HIM!In my opinion 90 K is expensive for any horse, let alone a colt with 0 training. Regardless of lines, i wouldnt but him for that much. Ive always been told " dont buy a 100k animal that can fall over and die on you at any moment"- This may be blunt, but its true. We are talking about paking 6 digits for an animal that can unexpectedly get injured or die, and it hasnt even been backed? Im truly sorry if i sound rude, but thats outrageous. I even drop my jaw at some of those eventers that are worth 100 K... but even if i had the money, i wouldnt pay that figure for that boy... Hes cute: but not 100K cute. Regardless: im sure he will go to a great home, and he will be loved very much by somebody

Well I would suppose if anybody wanted to pay 90k on here for him they would of already done so Secondly since any horse qualifying for nationals obviously has to go through regionals then of course every young horse you show will be 'at least' minimal regionals. Your piece about 2k horses making it to nationals was well written, so I do highly appreciate that as any horse can truly make it to nationals. One must also remember though that showing is politics, politics, politics. Some of us tend to forget as we ride coattails, and maybe this is just every show I've happened to attend, but there is always a game being played at these shows. Of course it obviously helps to have financial backing and a name. So when one becomes a member of the larger game, i.e. nationals, then a larger price tag is required. I highly doubt any well known individual or partners are going to look at (I'll use Midwest as a example) a horse owned by Bogg's only priced $5k. Now some lower priced folks may, because they think hey thats a awesome deal plus I can say this horse was affiliated with Boggs. But if Boggs had felt this animal was not up to par of getting the high price tag that their business demands/requires then I highly doubt the last thing they would want to do is price a horse low no matter what issues that animal may have. It could sully one's reputation in the game and therefor drive the customers away from their horses that they need and must sell to continue to be in their business. So as this was said of course your going to find more high caliber horses in higher price ranges. If there was a stallion available who took At Very Least top 3 both Am Nationals, and Canadian Nationals, anything under 5 digits I would begin to wonder, hey what's wrong with him. Understand my point? I apologize as I've never happened to hear of Bugacci but then I try to stay away from the lime light of showing. It has never proved anything to me on the status of horses since it is mainly judged along politics and what one judge may prefer another may not. Who's to say what is correct anymore in this breed. The topic of showing could open up a whole other can of worms due to holes, irregularities, and in some cases failure to follow our own rule books. Well proven on the Arabian forums I guess. Hopefully you do get to sell him though. If your in a business then your in a business to sell I would think, instead of keep. As my mother always said. You can't keep them all, no matter how good. If he has the chance at a good home then take your money and run

They'll sell him, when the time is right, no doubt... With a stallion like Spago up and coming, I think the 3 studs they have will do them justice.. Rick,Class, and Spago, they'll all be producing great off spring together soon! They have some real awesome horses at Wunderbar Arabians! Stephanie
