| Senior Moderator | Tex, It is so much more that just a piece of paper. The pictured colt just exudes class, refinement and dollar signs from every hair follicle. It takes lifetimes of careful breeding to produce such quality. You can not get quality like that by mating uncle Joe's old grey mare with the back yard stallion down the road. This colt has generations of PROVEN champions behind him. That is what the right "papers" will get you. I would not be surprised at the price tag on this beauty. So what gives Cool time?

| Senior Member+ | Nope, not desputing that. Thats not my point at all. Beautifully well conformed, talented horses are something you dont pass up, but I'm just saying for ME it would never rely on his bloodlines. I mean, I can stare at a stunning horse for hours and hours and not get bored (oftentimes I'm staring at a pic I've seen on here and my boss walks in... :S) Good bloodlines would sort of just be a bonus for resale purposes. Maybe I'm just not as fancy of a horse person, but I just go for how I feel about the horse. My horse isn't the most perfect one out there but I still think he's absolutely amazing. Don't even know his bloodlines, and don't care! ( Not that it matters as he could only be reg. as a Pinto!) That's all! I'm still dying to know how much he's going for ! lol Quote:

| Senior Member+ | Cool, Please tell. I'm not an arab fanatic, but he's gorgeous. Called a friend who is an arab breeder, and he is panting away. Wanting to know HOW MUCH, and WHERE TO GO!!! LMAO Many horses are sold for lines alone. in ALL Breeds. Because they want the babies off their land and $$ in their pockets. It is a risk many buyers take. But shoot, Bloodlines alone, if it is a mare or colt, you got breeding capabilities that you can touch on because just cause one is GREAT, doesn't mean they throw great. Same the othe rway around. They may SUCK as a performance horse, but they toss beautiful horses and winners. For example. Seabuiscut. Fast, very well performing, all his foals couldn't run themselves out of a paper bag. Same with Secretariate. SUCKED as a sire. None of his babies made anything near what they should. MOst couldnt run themselves out of a paper bag again. (professor got me saying that) BUT, Sec's daughters could throw some serious winners!!!

| Senior Member+ | Oh, yeah, read the second page, duh. I would not go anywhere near $100,000, that's ridiculous even considering his bloodlines. Not seeing a confo pic of him, or even a full body shot, I'd say $40,000 since all it can be based on is blood lines and assuming he's not horribly deformed. |

| Senior Member+ | mtroika, yes this is my parents horse. He will be an english horse after he is done his halter career. There is a possibility of park but we don't like to push our horses, we like to let them use the talent they have in a comfortable way. I'm suprized you recognized him. And Dawn were not selling him off a picture so no worries.

I remember back in they day LOL, my horse Troikas mom, was the top english arab mare in US and Canada and her owner turned down $500,000 US for her and the offers were going higher & higher, he never sold her though! She was amazing and had many amazing babies!!! And that was a while ago, but she was fully trained and had MAJOR wins under her. so tell us!!! |

| Senior Member+ | right now he is priced at $90,000 but in febuary the price will probably go up. He is an amazing animal. My parents have been breeding regional and national quality arabians since 1966...but he is one in a million.. I wasn't sure if people were going to put 2 and 2 together and WA= Wunderbar Arabians. and If you click on some of the names that Cool time posted in the pedigree it takes you to the website I have been posting on this forum (my parents website). But I guess not! lol
