I agree with Sleipnir. He seems to have done some research on the subject. The web link he provided is good as well.

::laughs:: i don't know about all this i agree and i disagree stuff...lol, everyone did research and everyone was pretty much the same in their conclusions...i mean, just like someone said, there's discernable traits for each line, which IMO were finely represented here in the picture posts. and of course, there is the historical background, which was posted as well...

lol sorry, i have visions of this post blowing up. eek! maybe i'm just in a paranoid mood or something...

Arabians are gorgeous horses! WOW, I think I like the scopey look of the polish, but those Egyptions have gorgeous faces......

Turbo, here is a photo of FERZON:

Ferzon was considered "DOMESTIC" he was THE AMERICAN Arabian along with THE REAL McCOY both were bred by Frank McCoy. There are lots of photos of Ferzon and his offspring online, including wonderful true stories about them and the people who knew them!
The Ferzon son Gai Parada+++ was said to have proven that Arabians of his time could be more than "pretty" horses at the end of a halter lead, that they could also "move" in performance classes since Gai Parada+++ was a National Champion performance horse BEFORE he was a National Champion Halter Stallion.

Ferzon & Gai Parada:

The most beautiful stallion to come out of the Ferzon lines..IMNHO...was Dreamazon+++. This horse was so beautiful! His head was PERFECT and photos cannot began to show the perfection of this stallions head. Look closely at the photo below. This stallion HAD the famous Arabian Horse JIBBA, the small muzzle, the big round dark eyes, the round jowls! His head was not only wedge shape it was truly sculpted in appearance and beautiful! He looked like a pice of fine art work that had come to life! His body too was exquisite! His personality and dispositon were beyond belief!
I was fortunate to meet "Dream" and see him up close and personal! To be able to actually see and touch this beautiful creature was a very moving experience! He was truly bred to live in "your tent" with your family!

So if your have a Ferzon bred horse and it only lives up to a third of it's history and bloodline you still have one super Arabian! wink

thanks for the pictures. Awesome bloodlines in my boy. No wonder he's the prettiest on the block. He's coming 22 and horse folks still guess him at 7 - 9. How I wish he wasn't gelded.
