ROTFLMAO that's okay I was informed before I left for work by my husband that while I was out with the pony my mom called and said she didn't like dutchess. I was like what??? she is the perfect arab, dishy blows fire tail in the air but 110% percent safe. jade rode her and loved her because she is so spunky but never spooks or gets out of line.

well james was laughing so hard I could hardly understand him, apparently when dutch is haltered (my mom likes the whole stand in front respect thing) dutch raises her head squares her front feet and parks out in back. I said ok what's funny, he said (thru tears mind you) that when she steps forward to touch dutch, the horse will lean back and when my mom takes a step back she leans back forward.

apparently my mom said she doesn't want a horse on the halter to act like she is sailing. LMAO. she said enough with the rocking!!!

James then says, hahaha and you have been trying to teach that to nite for two years .

well tomorrow I am going to pick up dutch and james and I are taking her and his gelding up to eagle eye mountain for a trail ride. I am so excited as I get to ride a mare that won't buck maybe I can enjoy the ride.

only bad thing is, since she is trained enough that even jade can lunge and ride her, elvis will probably have to go.

I know and poor dutch, they have been brushing her mane with a curry comb and the lady on trail rode and thought all arabs should have little tails. her tail is as long a yearlings and her mane is horrid

do you know of a way to make it look presentable. is it ok to band it? She is the color of a copper penny shedded out with one white sock. jade wants to do lead line. but oh my with that mane and tail I am going to have to rely on jade's cuteness. lol. I will upload pics tonight. my work you have to use a usb but I didn't bring the camera just the memory card.

I think she looks like a sweet mare. Hopefully she won't be a nut when you go out and see her. Could the lady get that halter ANY tighter!?

I think she will, in the last pic I posted with her and other two you can see her personality. and yes I honestly don't think that halter could get any tighter. she said she wears a pony halter on the last hole. *rolles eyes*

maybe that's what gives her, her big eyes. LMAO.

UGH, if you're showing in an open show, you could band it, no rules against it, etc... if you're showing an Arab show, no, don't try banding it. Personally I'd just try to make sure it was lying flat and neat and maybe tidy it up with pulling a tiny bit if it's really uneven, helter-skelter, style. I want to SMACK people when they shorten tails, good LORD don't they know how long it takes to GROW THEM

yeah my friend has her at her house as this lady and her are friend's and she was grooming dutch with the curry comb and started ripping thru the mane. I ran over and was like NOOOOO and phyiscally hugged her mane so they couldn't go near it. hubby is going to email pics in like 30 mins. wait to you see her face, just like emmerson's perfect dish with a blaze.

horrid body, they have her muscled up like a quarter horse. ick. she has like blocky legs and no top line. they said we just trail blaze, we don't worry about collection, that's not what gets good muscling anyway. *faints on floor*
