OHH I must have read it wrong, I read it as the horse WAS only two and I was thinking ... "looks older then two AND has a foal at side, I'd RUN" LOLOLOL

Why has this woman said she's giving her away for free though???? I mean Lexi was a free horse... Sound, put together well, out of two World Champions, BUT....... (there's always a BUT, lol) she was also VERRRY dangerous when I got her, hence why she was being given away to someone willing to take on her issues and they screened carefully to ensure she got placed somewhere capable of dealing with a kicking, striking, rearing horse.

It all was good in the end, I was able to work with her, but there is almost never a horse for 'free' that doesn't either have a physical or mental issue, so wondering why this girl is 'free'....

all her other horses ar QH which you know are big around here. now lyric has been for sale for like over two months and in her words, nobody wanted and underweight older arab. I understand that because every arab I have got in my yard was free as the concensus around roper country is they are insane. in fact I just bought my mom an 15 year old arab named dutchess, wonderful mare beauty head nice dish. spunky but very safe. was ridden by a sixty year old woman all the time. lunges on voice command, etc.

for a whopping 300 bucks, including all the tack. three bridles, bits saddle airride pad etc. so the market sucks around here for arabs. now in scottsdale and th bigger city it's different.

Wow, even here in "stock horse country" you can sell an Arabian, just usually not for the same $$$ !

As long as you know WHY she wants to 'give' her away and it sounds like that is a more common occurance out your way, so not as likely to mean some big issue. NOT that you're not adept at dealing with horses with issues but something to think about as well

I am going to eval her next sat. so we will see. it is a three hour drive in the mountains and gas is 2.61. so since she won't meet me she will have to wait until I get paid.

it's not my fault, if people would quit with the free take her away even to auction ads I would be fine.
