AQHA Youth World Show

Anyone going?

I'm leaving Wednesday, July 30th and overnighting in Amarillo so we don't have to drive all night. It'd just be about five hours to Oklahoma City from there so we'll be getting there at a decent time. I'm showing in the reining on Monday, August 4th with Player. This will be my first world show, I'm so excited.

Congratulations on qualifying!! That's so exciting. I show APHA, but I love quarters too..someday, I would love to be able to afford to show both! Anyways, have fun and good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Thanks guys, I'm going to try my best to take a bunch of pictures since I'll be doing absolutely nothing besides riding and taking care of my horse.

AllAroundRdr-Unfortunately I had stopped riding with Tom for that money was getting a little tight and it was starting to get really hard for us to go back and forth to California all the time. So we were trying to figure out what to do for a while. Luckily, my current trainer, Terry Berg, was living in here in Vegas because she had her back and hip surgeries done a couple years ago. Last summer, she heard that there were reining horses at our barn and she wanted to see if it was physically possible for her to ride again. She could. She used to just coach me and get on my horses every now and again, but now she's gotten strong enough where she can do things that she used to be able to. She used to have a hard time running and stopping hard because it bothered her alot. Now it doesn't. She just kind of popped out of no where, lol. I know that Tom's youth kid is going to be at the youth world as well and it'll be nice to see them. =)
