So then why do they need me to shave it if it doesn't matter, the breeding reports were in by december, if we do the PV why do they need me to shave him

To see if theres pink skin under the white, if there is under the notes section it will say something like " this horse has chariteristics undesirable for the AQHA "

So they can prove it's not a true white marking. They will want to put on the papers that the horse "has characteristics undesirable to the breed" if it is a true white marking.

Oh you bet he did he was absolutely loving the clippers at first he couldn't get enough of it on his face and then we put it all over his body and he stood completely still just totally enjoying himself.
I expected some kind of panic attack but nope I got nothing but "Whats that-Oh that feels good don't take it away!" lol

What a cute little guy, and I have a feeling it is just a per-caution.

He really hasn't been handled to much, I really don't want him to be a "pocket pony" I want him to totally respect me knowing that I am above him not his equal that he can test. About once every week or every other week I've taken him out to practice with leading a picking up feet for a couple of minutes and that has been about it so far.
I didn't want to have him registered until his whole summer coat had come in that way he'd at least look decent, I planned on doing it at 6 months put I'm only a partner in owning him so every decision made for him is a discussion and everyone else decided that they wanted to do it pronto because 3 of the names we had chosen for him had been taken already.
