hmmm...I find that true of several lines if that is the case.

I broke my very first horse, went home for christmas, came back and she was more willing than before.

same with most of the others that have gone home after I worked with them and then they sat for a few weeks.

so I tend to "like" giving some time off right after they get a few things in saddle down.

course, then....how are hancocks when they are pregnant? With my luck, we'll be fighting till the foal drops. LMAO

and then some.

Im Mighty Mouse

Here's one of my favorites. Really like this guy. He's hard to find now so I'm not sure if he's been gelded/died/sold. I love his looks. He's a ranch working stud. He's a non fading black I believe. Thought I would throw another one out there for you . Your probably not looking in this direction though.

Velvet Chic Olena belongs to the Darby Ranch in Elgin Texas 512-281-2605. He has NRHA $$ earned and AQHA reining points. I am sure they have a website, but I can not find it...if you call them they will give you more information... The Reminic Stud is a little closer to your neck of the woods in Duluth MN, KT Polo Performance Prospects- Breeders and Trainers of Fine Quarter Horses I have had several of his babies for training and they are uniform in confimation, quite attitude and trainability. His first foal crop has some $$ earners in the cow horse events, but his largest crop of 3 year olds will hit the futurity in 2007, I know of one that is on track to be a finalist. These are both "diamonds in the ruff" in my opinion.
