Question AQHA Brood mare prospect?

I have been really thinking of selling TJ as a broodmare/light riding horse, as she had a major tendon injury 3 years ago and has been sound on and off. She is sore right now -my fault, i wanted to go in a show and pushed a little too hard. I love this horse, but she is not meeting my needs, and I cant afford 2 horses. I was wondering if she is even a brood mare prospect and was hoping some of you quarterhorse people could help me out. If she is, I don't even knwo how to price her. She goes western and english, was doing quite well in reining considering she never had a western saddle on until march. She is road safe and no spooky. Here is her pedigree and pic. Thanks for any input, I'd like to get as many opinions as possible before I actually make a concrete decision.

From the bloodlines I would definately buy her as a broodmare. How is her attitude and conformation? If they are as good as the blood then there you are.

Sorry I didn't even pay attention to the fact that there was a picture. Yep I would say definately yes.

She does have great lines. Looks like a lot of running blood in her. I like her build as well from what I could see in the picture. Sure, I can see her as broodmare potential. Is she maiden? Even with her only being 7, that really isnt an issue IMO. BTW, have you seen if she is qualified to be registered Foundation? I am not positive how to do with the QH's, but ask QHGIRL, she may know. That will help her value/sellability as well if she is double registered, or even eligible to be reg FQHA. good luck

I think she would be an excellent broodmare! Nice bloodlines and she's beautiful! Around here I think she would sell between $4000 - $6000... the horse market is pretty pricey around her right now...

I think here in East Texas she would be in the 2000 to 3000 dollar price range.

I know almost nothing about Quarter Horse breeding, but even I recognize some of her pedigree as pretty darn good. She also seems to have really nice conformation; she looks like a Quarter Horse, not a Thoroughbred like some Quarter Horses do.

I agree she could definately be sold as a good broodmare and light riding horse. I am no expert, but I think somewhere around $3,500 to $5,000 would be reasonable for her, depending on if she has shown, won anything, already had a foal, etc.

It is so hard to price a horse nowadays. With her history of not having a foal, (cant see what she will produce) and no show history (or does she??) then I would say around here between 2-3K. Depends on what someone wants to pay really though.
