| Senior Member+ | Fewspots are often mistaken for greys. They are almost totaly solid white , but are 100% appaloosa color producers. I just purchased my own Few Spot Stallion a few weeks ago. As for this one. He's not bad. He had nice foals and His pedigree is pretty good. Granted these are not the best photos of him. His feet DO need a trim, but overall his legs look pretty straight inspite of the long hooves. He's pretty level across the top and not to bad overall considering he's been outside for a while. Oh yea and IF he really did place 6th in the world appaloosa show as a two year old he has to be pretty nice because they have to qualify by winning and earning enough points to qualify for the show in the first place. | Senior Member | He did place 6th in the World, I looked at his certificate. Like I had said last 5 years (since Alan has owned him) he has ONLY been a breeding horse. He is not fitted up, he has been kept outdoors with a run-in shed. Top Dun- I am not a current member with ApHC, I just sent in a bunch of papers and my app.... but could you look at his show record for me??? His reg name is Built Tonka Tough his #538940 |

| Senior Member+ | From looking at the pictures, my first reaction is that he isn't stallion material. However, if you are serious about breeding and want to produce quality, marketable foals, my suggestion to you is this; IF he has what it takes to get out there and show successfully and further prove himself, get him out there! Do your research about his past, find out exactly what he has and hasn't won. Why was he sold? Why did they quit showing him? These are important questions to ask before you begin your breeding program. Good luck and keep us posted!

| Senior Member+ | I definitely like his name!! I'd like to see a conformation pic of him when he was fitted for a show (back in the day) ....would it be possible to get one (some) from the prev. owners?

| Senior Member+ | Well I think he is gorgeous! He looks sweet to me for some reason too lol. IMO I think he has PRETTY, and flashy babies.(saw your post with link to your other thread.) i would definetly buy him and breed him. I would ride him too. He looks a lot better in the pic from the other thread though. Still pretty......just dirty.....but its that time of the year

| Senior Member+ | All it takes is a phone call to the ApHC. They don't have show records availabe online you have to call directly. you don't even have to be a member just call and tell them you are considering buying the horse. they will give you at least a partial over the phone, but might make you pay for a complete report. | Senior Member+ | I think his apperance is making people see something else. Looks a bit rough around the edges, but it looks to me like he will be quite nice looking with a bit of wieght off, a good grooming and some work. I wouldnt say geld him just yet. See what he is like in the performace department and see if he has anything to offer his children.
