Love him, he reminds me of my big orange horse

I'd say $10,000-15,000 because he's a lovely creature but really green for 5 Once he has more miles and is doing the baby greens, he'll be a lot more valuable. Right now, he's over a year behind the curve for an AA show horse. At 4 I would expect him to be getting solid on the flat and starting to jump small stuff. At 5, starting to put smallish course together and work on changes-- be ready to show the baby greens. I LOVE him and I think when he's made up he'll be a $$$ horse, but right now he's clearly a bit behind in terms of what he should know for his age.

I agree that he would go for a heartbeat at 10k. But I think you could get more and bumpit up to 12k and still sell him just as fast.

But soon, if training persists and he gets out there he could go for as much as25k around here.

Oh.My.GOD.

I need that horse!! *shrieks*

1 word.

AMAZING

He seems *perfect* for me, but he'd probably be WAY out of my price range.

Either way, I'm sure you could get a good 10k out of him with so much potential and such nice form and conformation.

I think I'm in love with your horse

He reminds me a great deal of my horse. Good build, great jump, powerful. He has less training than mine (though mine didn't have a ton of training) so I would put him at 15-20k.

I'd agree with that. I also agree with whoever said it's hard to tell much about the jump from the photos. I have a big red mare, aged 5 (Hano) that isn't too different than yours -- except she's doing 2'6 courses and has her changes on the flat ... now it's just adding the courses + changes -- anyway, have also been getting her out at schooling shows because she needs to be ready for the baby greens. And I think she's behind the curve because she'll turn 6 during her baby green year. Anyway, my trainer told me last week that if I put her on the market now it should be at 25K. She isn't for sale, though -- I'm attached to the little stinker. Trainer said that was what it'd cost me to replace her, so ...
