This weekend just gone i took my new pony Ned to our first competion ever. It was an ODE and competed grade 4. We didn't win, we didn't even come close

But you know what? We didn't have too. We did something together - our first competion after months of conditioning from the pony who tried to walk onto the float on his own when i picked up like this in July 2009:

to the pony I will never part with. The pony who follows me everywhere who falls asleep in my arms and trots up to be caught to go for a ride.
I've found something special. So for anyone who has that gut feeling, the feeling something is 'right' - Follow your heart - Patience, care, love and dedication can bring you something money really cannot buy - a new best friend who will do anything for you and then a bit more

You have done a fantastic job!!! What an amazing and inspiring story. It is amazing what you can find under skin and bones. Having seen 2 horses personally who went from skin and bones, to ridable it is an amazing feeling to know you helped in their recovery. He is a beautiful boy.
