Anything I can do about a dishonest seller?

I trusted the people on this website because everyone seems like a close knit ground of honest, hardworking people who had a common love; Horses. I've bought two items off the people on here, one went through with no problem (Thank you Annasmom). The last item I purchased was in April and still have not received the item. As I'm sure everyone else is just like me and doesn't have an extra $170 to just throw around just for the fun of it. We're a family of 6 living off one income at the moment, but if I sold someone an item I'd make **** well sure they got their item, no matter what it took. Is there anything that can be done about these sellers who take our money and don't follow through on their end? I'm sorry to all the good sellers on here as I know there are so many. The ones who do not follow through on their end really make it hard for people to trust buying from others on here. And yes before I get asked, I have contacted the seller numerous times, first it was empty promises, now I have not heard anything for several months. It's so frustrating. Anyways sorry for my little rant, but the question remains can anything be done about it because it truely keeps people from purchasing items from the many many honest sellers on here.

Is th seller still coming on here? I would check with a mod and see if they can help out. I wish they would put up a bad sellers list so we no who not to buy from.

There isnt much a mod can do.

Did you pay with Pay Pal? If so, file a complaint.

I didn't paypal because we couldn't get it to go through. Something on here end wouldn't allow it. So I sent a personal check. Where do I find the list of good sellers and bad sellers? That would help tremendously. And the seller has not been on since 5/11/09 it looks like ><.

It said she joined in March I think and she had been so active in the forums so yah I'm an idiot ><. Oh well, an expensive lesson, but could have been worse. Could have been a $500 saddle I bought. I'm really happy to see a list of the good sellers on here. Who knows it might even protect naive gullible people like myself
