 | Anyone want to help me start thinking of names?
I know it a little early, but hey, patience was never one of my strong suits. I've got two TB mares in foal with babies due in March. They are both bred for racing, and will be headed for a career on the track. If I include the pedigrees of both babies and pictures of all parents, I was wondering if anyone would like to help me think of names. I don't like names that are very obviously derived from the parents names, look at the pedigrees of my mares and you'll see what I mean  I like really nifty names that make you think and wonder. So let's see what you've got! Registered names and barn names, please.First baby. Due early March. This is the mare's second foal. The hypothetical foal's pedigree is in the link below. What about RaceTrack Wonder Majestic Wonder I will post back later with some more names, I have a book of TB racing names that I thought up so I will go take a look at them and post the good names here.

I couldn't get your links to work with the pedigrees... Is there a character limit? Here are some neat ones I found and their meanings: Auspicious - promising success; favored by fortune; fortunate; prosporous Avant Guard - French; front of an army Accolade - any award, honor or laudatory notice Alrighty Then - sorry... I love Jim Carey Arrivederci - Goodbye in Italian Bacardi - a brand of rum or cocktail Bienvenue - French; welcome (used in reference or addressing a woman) Bien Entendu - French; naturally, of course Bravissimo - used to express highest praise to a performer If you like those I can post some more... but it's getting late right now.

How about... Chasing Liberty (totally stole that from a movie title :P) Carpe Diem (sieze the day, if you didn't know that) Wayward Soldier Blissful Morning (random, I know) Fearless Majesty Eternal Flame Sky's the Limit ok, I've gotta go to bed now, but there's a few random ideas. Could you supply us with daddy and mommy's names? It might be easier to come up with ideas. |

Sorry everyone, I had the pedigree thing set up, but it must've gotten erased. I'll just post the stallion and mare pedigrees for each pair. Hmmm lets see... Baby names  1st baby: Unbridled Moment Crimson Song Dust Slinger (hehe thought that one sounded intimidating) Domestic Charge Charge Me Now 2nd baby: Storm Lovin' Stormin' the Bank Call Me Deputy Lovin' N Runnin' Stormchaser Those are a couple I could come up with. Good Luck picking one
