I actually like that cross for the most part. I've seen more clyde/TB crosses that I like than any other draft cross. I always thought percherons might cross better because they tend to have a more refined look about them, but they don't usually turn out as well.

This is a friend's horse...

I own one, but he's not FULL half clyde, the dam is I'm guessing 3/4 clyde but that's not a definate. He's only a year now, so it's not very accurate to guess what he'll grow into. Much taller than his mother, since she's not that big(maybe 15.2)

My friend just took these new pics of him, so I just want an excuse to post lol.

he's much more TBey than drafty, we did these pics with our boys together cause they look so much alike lol.

It's funny, sometimes they turn out much more refined and leggy, sometimes they are powerful and thick boned looking. Either way I think they make great crosses.

I agree with what's been said... in that any photos would be fairly random, because crosses like this can really really vary! Some clyde/TB crosses are huge and drafty (although slightly refined because of the TB) and some just look like slightly heavier built thoroughbreds... it all depends.

That being said, I love draft/TB crosses (I love BIG horses, but I also love the athleticism and the dressage/jumping capabilities that can come with the TB breeding).

Anyhoo, since you asked, here's a site I found where you can find many photos of Clyde/TB crosses:

http://www.draftcrosses.com/From%20Our%20Clients.htm
That's funny, the second link is very local to me and I actually have met a number of the horses on that page. I can vouch for Quincy being an AMAZING mover and you would never in 100 years guess he was a draft cross.
