Yes, it was a draft and she had mastiatus (spl?) before foaling.

Which mare Mary?

ETA: Oh and the duct should be stopped up and/or we also had deeper orange streaks in the wax.

Geeske did that with her first...nothing was wrong but it was just a small amount about 2 weeks prior to foaling. Vet said totally normal. This year she didn't do it though...straight to normal wax. But Geeske never foals with actual milk...always sticky yellowish...like honey liquid. Goes to regular milk right after foaling.

Well I know that she is not stopped up since my DH milks her every day. She is super huge so maybe she will foal. This mare always does weird stuff anyway. Her other filly was born with the barn name Hoodini... and then the last one was the mystery that showed up in September... so hopefully this one will be normal and on time and not disappear.... errrrrr MARES LOL

It is here....

Well I just got back in the house... I have been up all night watching this mare... she finally foaled at 5:20 this am. We have a filly... We hauled her to the barn on my lap in the back of the Gator just in time to beat the rain.
