I've used them and liked them. I felt they were a bit heavy though. Certainly absorb the shock.

Here is a video about the technology of the pad. I did the hand/ pad and M&M demo myself so I know it works.

I do not like the boots. They are too bulky and heavy.

Nearly all I use are IG pads and I love them. I school/train in them as well as show in them with a show blanket over the pad. I also like my TS pads

I've never used one but I have heard that a lot of people do not like them because they trap a lot of heat.

I love impact gel pads there great for heavy riding and really absorb the shock like they say, and it also really helps to fit the saddle to every horse too with out having pressure points everywhere! I also love the air ride pads as well there really good too i have both and will never go back to just a normal pad!

I have an impact gel and have been riding in it for about 3 years. They do really absorb the shock which is good, but they get very hot and when they get sweaty they do not dry out quickly. I rode one day and when I was done I left it on my deck upsidedown in the sun to try to dry it out and it was still slightly sweaty the next morning. Another problem I have is dirt I have yet to find a good way to clean them and if you drop them on the ground they collect everything. MOstly I just take a soft brush and brush it off, but it's not like any of my basic wool pads I can just throw in the washer.
