Anyone Do Shows??

hey everyone does any one do Halter shows? or Western Pleasure, or Barrel Racing, or girls cow roping, or roping, or anything lol. plz tell me what u do and like about it i really want to get into some of theses

I used to do some breakaway roping and some team roping back in High School rodeo, but I don't do it much anymore.

I still barrel race and pole bend though

I quite going to local horse shows a while back to pursue a rodeo career. It's going well. Plus, I love to travel.

I have a need for speed (on horses), so barrels and poles is just my style

cool, okay is breakaway roping like wehn u rope the calf and then the rope breaaks from ur saddle and thats iT? right

Yep. That's it. They call time when the rope breaks away from the horse.

I always found it more fun than team roping BLAH (LOL)

I barrel race/game, as well as hunt seat. I just do local shows -> cant afford gas prices to go to AQHA or HS rodeo right now.

For me its basically a social event. I love the people, and of course the horses. I love gaming, as circle c put it "I have a need for speed". But then I love my pleasure because its so... I dont know.

I haven't shown in a very long time but I use to show at 4H ones and general shows which often included halter classes. Not anything too special
