Any yoga gurus?

Who likes yoga?? I!!

I know a lot of us do little yoga excersizes for our riding, because they are really helpful. But who likes to take it a step beyond that? Like...who can do this?

Or this?

Lemme tell ya...I sure can't!! But someday, with a lot of practice, I should like to! I'm taking a yoga class next school year.

What poses CAN you do? What hard poses are you favorites? Post pictures of some AMAZING yoga!!

So far, the hardest poses I can do are pendulum, crow (for about 3 seconds), side crow, plow (but that's easy), big toe grab, a gentle backbend (I can't do backbends to save my life!!) and if I really try hard and after like an hour or two of simpler poses, I can do the wheel. It's not very good though. I have to stand on my toes sometimes. I can do a few others too, but they are more basic and I don't remember what they are called.

My favorite poses are pidgeon (pictured above) and the scorpion.

Here's a link to some cool yoga poses:

And these are the HARD ones!! They're so much fun to look at and try to do, even if you almost kill yourself
Advanced Yoga Poses

That's just about all I know, except that yoga is FUN!! Who doesn't like contorting their body into really weird shapes that no one else can do?

There have GOT to be some more advanced yoga people on here Show yourselves! What cool stuff can you do? What cool stuff do you WISH you were able to do? Let's have a yoga rally!

HAHA I just have to share that over MSN last night, megs and I were trying some of these........I almost killed myself by flipping over into a wall....and megs tore up the carpet with her face HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHHA
It was fun.

I have figured out that I don't have the mind for yoga. I like to try the hardest poses, just to do them and then I'm done...I don't want to hold it for hours

Eh I use to alot XD I use to be able to do the 1st and 3rd picture there. I can't do much for more difficult inverted poses, just have no balance with my head of hands XD

If you asked me to do them now I probably wouldn't be able too...what I get for not practicing for a year or so.

Anyway when I was doing yoga daily XD I was able to contort myself pretty easily...I taught yoga to physically/emotionally challenged kids for awhile too
