Any more games on horseback?

Are there anymore games on horseback than just

The Egg and Spoon race is another favorite. The participants each get an egg on a spoon and have to go from the start to the other end (usually around the last bending pole), and back as fast as they can without dropping the egg. It is often played with potatoes instead as they don’t break when landing on the floor, but beware of horses that eat anything.

Have an egg down at the other end of the arena, run down on your horse, have your horse step on the egg and run back to the start

flags where you have 4 barrels lined up in a square and you have buckets on top you motor to the first one grab the flag, run to the second drop it in run to the third grab the flag, and run to the fourth and drop it in, person with shortest time clear wins. Theres also the baton relay one person starts from the gate with the baton runs up and waits then next person follows,(this is a team event) and grabs the baton running up to top of arena. person runs up grabs onto baton they then have to go around a barrel holding onto the baton, and have to keep contact entire way past finish line. Team has to both cross finish line before time is stopped, If you want I can email you a diagram of the pattern

I watched a potatoe race a few years back here in Utah... What a riot!
Two teams, a pile of potatoes in the center of the arena, at each end, a tire, and one rider guarding it.
Riders are armed with long pointed sticks. The team who gets the most potatoes in the other teams tire, wins..
I dont know the rules, but I saw riders slapping other riders, (not hard) I heard all kinds of colorfull language, and it all seems more for fun then anything. It was so funny to watch, and people were coming from Idaho to play in a round..

Ride-A-Buck!...Winner take all!!!

Rider enter the ring riding their horse bareback and carrying their entry fee of one dollar...as they enter they stop hand the dollar to the Judge (or ring master) who places the dollar bill between the rider's thigh and the horse.
The rider proceeds on around the ring at a wlk and is not allowed to touch the dollar bill from that point on.
Once all the competitors have entered and have their dollar in place the contest begins...the Judge then calls for different gaits like in a regular class and the riders must ride their mounts according to what is requested.
Once they drop their dollar they are "out" and proceed to the center of the ring.
As the numbers are whittled down the Judge may make more difficult calls of changes of gaits and transitions. Extensions of the different gaits, canter/lope from a halt anything (thats safe and normal) to try to cause the rider to lose their dollar.
If necessary a low jump or even cavaletti can be used for the final few.

The last person with their dollar still in place wins all the ones that the others contestants have dropped!

I have a whole book about games on horse back I can't find it at the moment,. but the boot race, the old clothes race and the three legged race all come to mind, then there was the saddling race and the trailer race.

The saddling race. you put your saddle at one end of the arena, take your hrose to the otherend of the arena and then when the starter tells you everyone races doen mounted bareback to their saddles, saddles the hrose and races back tothe startline. The first person back tothe start line on a saddled horse is the winner

The trailer race. you bring the trailer into the arena, with the horse loaded, then you sit in the truck and when given the signal you get out to the truck run to the trailer get the horse out of the trailer, saddle the hrose and race one loop around the arena and then unsaddle load the horse back up and get back in the truck for the time to end.

Water Race - Everyone has a cup of water held in their mouths and must circle the ring at various gaits (called by the judge), whoever has the most water remaining at the end is the winner. Pretty hilarious to see everyone getting soaked...
