I've never heard of a pit bull attack that has happened somewhere out of state on the local news or any news really. My point being, I know there are idiots out there that paint all Pit bulls with the same brush, but don't do the same thing regarding people.

Born, I agree that there needs to be legislation encouraging responsible ownership for breeds that may be predisposed at being dangerous...and when that doesnt work, there needs to be a ban.

I am fully aware that any breed of dog can be dangerous... but the bigger more powerful dogs are going to cause greater harm to a human, then a smaller breed, unless we are talking about very small children.

Pitbulls arnt that big of a dog to start off with.. and.. there are many more powerful dogs out there. Yeah pitbulls have a locking jaw.. BUT they are still not the most powerful.

I totally disagree, family raised dogs have killed people...We personally know someone that was attacked by his Pit, and he had lovingly raised this dog from a puppy.
