I agree with this. I would rather wear them with some dresses like I did with my halloween costume. I would wear them with a skirt but not extremly short skirts I dont wear skirts that are little bitty.

My mom thinks that skinny jeans aren't flattering on people who can't pull it off. Of course If i had the body and stuff Id be one of them but I cant lol.

I'm not a big fan of dresses below my knee
Unless the dress is for prom or the wedding day.

Hipster jeans that show butt cracks or make it look like the person's circulation is being cut off.
I think some people look good in some fashions and others don't. Some people look cute in skinny jeans and others look like sausage casings ready to burst. I think the fashion should complement the person wearing it or it really isn't fashionable!!!

I was just going to mention the low rise pant craze and the resulting "muffin top". Just because a style is in fashion, if your body type doesn't lend itself to it you are NOT going to look good no matter if you are in style or not.

It's almost shocking to me to watch the path fashion, or lack thereof, is taking. When I was in high school, the principal would stand by the lunch line and if your skirt looked too short, you would have to kneel on the floor. If the hem didn't reach the floor, you were sent home. The guys had to have their shirts tucked in and look neat.

In these times, it seems anything goes. The sloppier or more revealing the better. Good grooming seems to have taken on another definition. Do they sell combs any more? LOL The bed head look just has to go!

I agree with you all that these are not things to be taken as fashion trends but, lets face it, they are very comfortable and practical trends
That makes sense for really cold weather, but I live in LOUISIANA and still see Uggs everywhere! In 70 degree weather people wear them...with SHORTS. Or a miniskirt. It just looks stupid!

UGGS were originally worn by surfers - and it's not that common to surf in freezing temperatures. I also doubt they wore them with long pants.

I hate everything Lady gaga wears.......sorry gaga fans....I like her music but her outfits, wow.

I also hate skinny jeans I hope they die out after 2009. I also can't stand it when a girl wears a mesh/see through top with a rainbow colored bra.

Low jeans, showing underwear.... do you know where that came from? It is from prison, letting the other inmates know you are "available" if you know what I mean...

pajamas. No sweats are fine, but actual pajamas? gross, did you shower? ugh...

revealing the tummy, the girls too much, and too few buttons for men. I don't want to eat when hairy chests are poking out.

i like skinny jeans. And they can be very flattering to girls who dont have curves. Or ones who do and want to show them off.
And on the right guy they look really good

I hate girls who wear thin tank tops with only the built in shelf bra's in the COLD weather (which is 95% of the time here) ... spare my eyes, and at least get some pasties or bandaids or something to cover up your "smarties"

I detest EMO style. I hate everything about it. I hate lank, dyed black, back combed rats nest hairdo's with too much black eye liner and "oh woe is me" attitudes. I really am turned right off by EMO boys with long scraggly hair over one eye and skinny jeans. I think that in their attempts to look "unique", they end up all looking the same. If your "style" gets a name, you are not dressing in a unique style.

I don't like yoga pants in public, I don't like shoulderpads in show jackets, I really hate lycra stretch show shirts on overweight people, I dislike horseback riding girls who don't strap themselves into ballistic bra's first (I'd have two black eyes in short order if I didn't do the world a favour and keep my flip flops under tight wraps)

I guess I am a bitter old lady (I'm 28) when it comes to fashion :P

Mind you today I am wearing shiney silver and black Sketchers runners, grey and black plaid pants, a red hoodie with a car on it, and a messy bun :P Fashionista!
