I'm so happy to read she's getting better. I'm going to look around for stuff to sell. I know I have some stuff, going over to classifieds...

Also, I can put an event like that up on our website Events Calender for the Magazine free of charge!
Omg when you guys say your gonna do something you guys really step out and do it! All I can say is Thank you so much for thoughtfullness, and yet that seems so incredibly inadequate!

I spoke with the Editor/Publisher of our paper and apparently there is a policy that won't allow for anyone working for the company to have there picture, personal ads, or personal stories in the paper. So he said it was a no go from that stand point.

But the whole yardsale thing is a great idea and I do have somethings that I can sell too! When I get home from work I will try to get pictures (if I can keep my eyes open)and get them posted!

Karyn, PeggySue Thank you! Thank you for the encouragement and for making this impossible situation seem more manageable!

I am so glad things are picking up for your baby...still sending prayers.

And I am so impressed with you guys helping her out.....I wish I had more cash to help, but I am still paying of the bill for my mare that tore her side open, over 100 stitch's, so what money I have goes on that at the moment....so sorry.

I'm glad to hear that Annie is doing good. Good thoughts heading your way that she stays on the right track! And kudos to you for stepping up and giving this filly a chance. I know the position you are in, we went through a lot with the orphan we had...a lot of heartache, time, love, care, and unfortunately vet bills.

I'm so glad you stepped in and saved that precious girl.
Last winter I had an Orphan Annie (my dad names her since she was staying at their house). She wasn't in as bad of shape, but was still pretty sick and I ended up spending almost $1000 on vet bills and milk replacer for her.

This was my Orphan Annie the day she came to me, she was 6 weeks old and very underweight.

Several months later before she went to her new home.

Pantha, do not be sorry, we all do what we can and there are times I can spare a bit of change adn times I can not... In the end, the fact that you're always willing to help a fellow horseperson with wonderful support and advice is always worth gold in my book
Anyone who CAN afford a few dollars, that's great, anyone who can not, That's OK too

Evening time Annie update!

Dr. Wise just called me. They unwrapped Annies legs today and flushed them again..the swelling in the lower legs is GONE!!! They will run more blood work tomorrow and most likely have to re-flush her hocks again. She is still in good spirits and the Doctors have all fallen in love with her!

Fever is still gone and she is eating well.

More news to come in the morning!
