I have to agree. A stallion shouldn't look like a mare that is about to foal.

I have seen better reps of the breed. He is okay but just doesn't seem to have spark. One andy stallion I do like is Jovial D just wish he was a little more on the sweeter side.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...89-8957web.jpg

Interesting about the eye thing Sandra... I also did not like it at all... It is not intelligent and kind looking IMO. They eye is actually the first thing I notice on ALL breeds myself... It tells you so much about what is going on in the horses mind and while a correct body is of course, VERY important, I have to be able to enjoy LOOKING at my horse and what do we spend a lot of time looking at and reading? Their faces, and their eyes are what communicate their expressions the best.

Shell, if I were Andulsian shopping, I'd be looking for something that has more of what the breed is about IMO (remember Opinions are just that, OPINIONS ). I expect an Andulsian and a Lusitano to have the appearance of POWER and ELEGANCE standing still and moving. This boy is just kind of 'plain' standing still and only average in his movement shots. I don't see that proud, powerful bearing that I want to see in any of the Iberian Penninsula breeds. That, to me, is the true essence of what makes them what they are. That powerful, compact, yet very elegant package.

AH HA! I am VERY good a 'pretend' shopping since my budget doesn't have room for REAL horse shopping... at least the the caliber I REALLY want to have again But it is ALWAYS good to be 'prepared' for when you DO have unlimited funds, right???
