Isn't fedex liable to reimburse you if something perishable, that has been shipped overnight takes 3 days!?

FedEx can't be held responsible for some circumstances. First of all, do you have what fedex says it was shipped by (IE Priority Overnight, etc) and customs is always a reason things are held up

Well, atleast its in Canada, the hard part is over. That's not a very long flight, so it should make it to you quickly I hope. Live cover definately would have been easier wouldn't it have?

Just one more reason to check (both stallion owner and mare owner) on their delivery times! It sucks, but not much you can do about it I would certainly file a claim for the shipping costs on it. You're more apt to get that back than anything else. But still... what service did they use with FedEx?

I did ask on my side and there side, and was told it was one day shipping, they used Fed Express oneday shipping. Fed Ex never got it here, Pacific Air did. Thanks I am going to complain to Fed Ex for sure!!!!

Well I got the Semen at 7:30pm Tonite, it was flown in by Pacific Airlines, not by Fed Ex....... I picked it up and my vet was on a call till 9:30pm. So when my vet got back I took my mare to his clinic and she was insiminated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG its done!!!!!!!! Now my stress is over, nature has to take its course and I cant help in that area, so I will not stress over it.

My mare was a 35/40 folical, we caught her just in time.......... Her cervax was smushy and the uterus was something haha, I dont remember the term he used.

So its done...... All I can do is wait now.

Thanks guys!!!

Did they test the motility? How was the semen looking by that time?

OMG I have been so stressed for 2 days haha!!! Since Monday!

So the sperm was about 37 hours old by now. Ok I am reading this off my bill, It says motility was about 70%, first sample was 30CC second was 35CC. Evaluation at 41 degrees, and 39 Degress, Celsius.

We put both samples in her tonite, it would have been to late for the second one tommorow.

She was given a shot of Oxytocen???? I cant read his spelling and i cant remember the name........
