| Senior Member  | AMAZING horse show this weekend!
ok so it was my first show since july, my first one with my new barn. im working with a 10 year old QH named jack, he's only been jumping for about 3 months, and is NOT pleasureable or huntery so i did eq. and we won champ  2 first places and a second. it was 18 inches, because he;s not ready for a 2; course yet well now i think he is but when we were prepping for it we didnt want to push anything. then we did a costume class, and we got 2nd. THEN i got the good sportsmanship award it was my second champion, and my very first award like that AND my old trainer was judging! i switched barns because it closed. Nice job, Congrats! You two looked great together and some really nice pics were taken.

I love that one where you're leaning up to pet him; you should put it in black and white and hang it on your wall!!! Congrats!

and thanks to everyone!! i still smile every time I see these pictures! This show meant sooo much to me! FOr me to have won CHampion he had to have been quiet enough for my eq to be good, usually he's SUPER bouncy and IMPOSSIBLE to sit the canter. SO he made me really super proud! as for the costume.... hahaha. you'll laugh. im 17 and it's in the kids section lol. I forget if I said this, but the wings were upside down. ooops haha. oh well! We're having a mini show series next year, so im SOOO pumped for it! I think he'll be ready to do a 2' course by then to! AHHHH this show seriously meant soooo much to me, even if it WAS 18 inches and I have the ability to jump way higher. it really did mean a lot

poor jack in pink and baby blue and mint green..he is hoping you dont show those photos to the other horses.. Very cute costume idea and the colors looked neat on him..congrats on a fun day! Sarah
