Amazing first show! *PICS*

I can't begin to describe how happy I am with William. We've been working really hard together, trying to get our leads and striding, and it's all really paid off. We went to a show yesterday and I was a bit worried about how everything was going to go, but I wasn't nervous in the least for the jumping! It's so liberating not feeling nervous, it helps me concentrate on other aspects of showing... like being really excited and enjoying myself! The warm-up round went well, apart from adding in every line. Both of our o/f went INCREDIBLE! Our first one, we picked up the wrong lead at the very beginning... my fault... but got all our strides! The second course went so so well. We got all the striding and all our leads - HE EVEN DID A FLYING CHANGE!!! The flat went relatively well, but Will was being a bit too fast.

As for placings, I got 5th out of 17 on our first o/f, 2nd out of 17 on our second o/f, and didn't place on the flat in the Novice division (2'3). It was quite a competive division, so I'm VERY VERY happy!!! YAY!

Congrats on a great day! I love placing in really big classes, it makes me feel really accomplished because the judge remembered us out of 15+ horses!

O/F Means "Over Fences" I would have asked that same question 2 years ago
