Maybe that trainer did not train the horse?

Ditto this. They can't take your ads down then because you are NOT mentioning anyone specific. And make sure you only put up pictures you own so there isn't anymore issues.

But yeah, I don't think he should be asking for more money. And the previous owner's comments about why she doesn't want the ads up... Well I'm not even going to touch THAT.

I sense there's second bottom to this, story behind it. Seems like the easiest way to get what you want is to do the above

I think what they mean is there is something else going on between the former owner and trainer that you were never informed about. And that might be why the temper tantrums over the ads

meaning you arent being told the whole story..IMO, why else would the previous owner and the trainer be so up in arms over this? at least that is my opinion on the matter..

I agree just to say that the horse was pro trained... offer more details if asked. If you do talk to the trainer again, let him know that if HE sells your horse for you, he is entitled to his 10%. Case closed.

I would be sure to say in her ad that "the previous owner had her professionally trained with for ...".

Do not post the link to the trainer's web site or the trainer's name. If he's angry with you and doesn't want to deal with it, then that's fine. If prospective buyers want to know, they'll ask.

hmmm...maybe....i don't think it should involve me,though I don't really know the person i bought the horse from and i hadn't even heard of the trainer until she gave me the details of the training. the person i got her from seems scared of her husband because of the quote she gave me when she wanted me to delete the ad. they have nothing against me....oh well...the solution seems to be easy...though annnoying. i feel mean, but there is no way i can reccomend his training to other people if they ask, because he is just so rude! thank-you all again for your great suggestions. i will stop throwing a fit and get over it lol
